I love seeing my work in print, I truly believe in my brides purchasing an album to tell the story of their day. It’s all well and good having the digital images on a disk or flash drive but those don’t get handed over with care, pages loving and carefully turned, The oohs and ahhs escaping from the viewers lips.
When I got married I just had a disk handed over to me and I definitely wished we had gone the album route. Just handing over albums to my newly married couples is a joy in itself.
For photographers, I use Pictage for my albums and this is the first time I was trying their new Aspen album. I chose a beautiful Taupe colored silk for the cover, with a silver imprint on the lower right corner of Lanessa & Ryan’s names. The interior liner is smoke Linen. The album is 10″ x 10″, with 100 images spread over 25 pages. The pages are wonderfully thick and lay flat with only a slight gutter in the middle.
So I repacked this beauty yesterday and shipped it off along with a 16x 24 standout print to New Jersey.
I know they will enjoy it as much as I did, even if it was for such a brief time.
