The water’s great, dive in…

This weekend I stayed in with Layla, I’m trying not to feel guilty about being back to work full time and so I made Saturday a play day with her. She’s started really focusing on her hands and grabbing her toys and bringing them to her mouth. She’s just adorable.
Saturday evening, I went out with a girlfriend to a friends 50th birthday party and we had a lot of fun, despite the rain.
One thing about living here in Grand Bahama is that even though it rains it’s still very warm and it never does rain for long. So Sunday I went back to work, I have a few shoots this week, a exhibition opening in Nassau which i’ll blog about separately. I’m flying over there for the opening at the end of this week but you can check it out here and I also have a deadline for a major travel publication.
This meant that Doug took Layla for the whole day so I could work uninterrupted. I had to drive to Goldrock Beach but i missed low tide so I’ll be back there on Wednesday. On my way back from The Lucayan National Park I stopped at Taino Beach to see if anything exciting was happening as I had my gear with me.
Unfortunately I had missed The Grand Bahama regatta but I did manage to get some sweet shots of two of my friends, designer Erykah Monique & model Jennelle Hollingsworth cooling off and having fun diving off the pier at Taino Beach.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead.
