Every session I photograph carries its own magic, but this one at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was extra special—a 60th birthday celebration for a beautiful mother, surrounded by the love of her family. Four adults came together to honor her in the most meaningful way: by creating timeless memories captured in photographs.
Before the shoot, we started with a style consultation. This step is one of my favorites because it sets the tone for the entire session. Together, we talked through wardrobe choices, colors, and how to create a cohesive look that felt elevated while still showcasing everyone’s individual personality. By the time the shoot day arrived, the family was perfectly styled, confident, and ready to celebrate in front of the camera.
The setting at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar could not have been more fitting. With its stunning architecture and vibrant surroundings, every backdrop gave us a chance to highlight the joy and love shared between them. The birthday honoree radiated happiness, and the laughter and connection between her family made photographing them effortless.
But the experience didn’t end there. After the session, we met again over a Zoom Call where the family chose their favorites from the gallery. Their chosen collection arrived in one of our handcrafted Italian reveal boxes, a piece of art in itself. To make the celebration last even longer, they also selected a custom-designed wall art piece with a contemporary gold frame, to place right above their fireplace.
