It was everything I love about studio photography. This beautiful family of five came into Lightworx, our natural light studio ready to celebrate their bond in style.
We started the session with a formal look: the women in long, flowing red dresses that brought a richness to the studio. The men complemented them in tailored suits, bringing a touch of refinement and sophistication. The dynamic was magazine-worthy and full of heart.
Then came the outfit change—white shirts and blue jeans for everyone. It was the perfect casual balance: fresh, clean, and laid-back. It allowed the family’s natural connection to really shine through with smiles, and those sweet in-between moments that always end up being favorites.
After their elegant studio family session, we met again for their reveal appointment. It’s one of my favorite parts of the experience—seeing clients relive the shoot and fall in love with their images all over again. They chose a stunning leather reveal box to preserve their favorite portraits. It’s a classic way to showcase their family, and I love knowing it’ll live on in their home for generations.
