There’s something incredibly special about photographing couples again after their wedding day. Watching love evolve and deepen is a gift—and that’s exactly what we got to witness during Joanne and Andrew’s romantic anniversary session at Old Fort Bay Beach in Nassau.
We were lucky enough to photograph their wedding last year, so reconnecting with them for this shoot felt like catching up with old friends. The love between them? Still undeniable.
They chose Old Fort Bay Beach—one of the most peaceful and private beaches on the island—for their session, and it couldn’t have been a better backdrop. We kept things simple and real: just the two of them walking along the shoreline and the as the sun dipped lower in the sky.
But here’s the best part—they brought their two dogs along for the session. These pups weren’t just tagging along; they were very much a part of the love story. Running between their humans, wagging tails, sandy paws, and all—it added the most joyful energy to the shoot.
Joanne and Andrew laughed easily with one another, stole quiet glances, and shared the kind of comfort you only see in couples who truly get each other. It was love—just as it should be.
Getting to document these milestones after the “I do’s” is a reminder of why I do what I do. It’s about more than a wedding day—it’s about the journey that comes after.
