When you work alongside someone for years, you see them grow, evolve, and step into their own creative power. That’s exactly what I’ve witnessed with Winter, my studio manager and an incredibly talented photographer in her own right. So, when it was time for her Bahamas branding session, we knew it had to be more than just a typical photoshoot—it needed to capture her essence as both a photographer and the creative force behind our social media presence.
From Studio to Marketplace: A Story in Images
We started the session in our natural light studio in Grand Bahama Lightworx Creative Studio with our Winter getting the full luxury experience with Make up Application by Kaylisa of Beauty Call by Kay. Winter had referenced a soft 90’s look and Kaylis brought this to life. In the studio, we focused on images that reflected her professionalism, creativity, and the way she seamlessly balances capturing moments behind the lens while also being the face of our online presence. We wanted shots that felt natural and powerful, and truly her—clean, modern portraits that spoke to her role in our brand’s visual storytelling. As Winter manages a variety of roles we wanted to ensure that we had a range of branding visuals that covered all the aspects.
Then, we took the session beyond the studio walls and into the vibrant atmosphere of Lignum Vitae Marketplace. This was the perfect backdrop to showcase the other side of Winter’s brand—her ability to connect, create, and bring a fresh perspective to storytelling. The warm textures, natural elements, and creative energy of the marketplace complemented her style beautifully. As she moved through the space, we captured lifestyle shots that felt authentic, approachable, and full of life.
Why Branding Photography Matters
For any entrepreneur—especially creatives—branding photography isn’t just about having a nice headshot. It’s about visually telling the story of who you are, what you do, and how you do it. This creative branding session forwas all about that—highlighting her dual role as a photographer and social media strategist, making sure her brand is as visually compelling as the work she creates for others.
Seeing her step in front of the camera was a full-circle moment, and I couldn’t be prouder of the journey she’s on. She’s not just the one behind the scenes making things happen—she is the story.
