DR. DARIA’S THREE- DAY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IN THE BAHAMAS
Dr. Daria’s three-day birthday celebration in Eleuthera, Bahamas was nothing short of extravagant. Harbour Island is a tiny gem off the coast of mainland Eleuthera. A playground and second home to the rich and famous; it’s iconic pink sand beaches and antique charm make it one of the best kept secrets of the Bahamas. The island, though little, features multiple accommodation. Ranging from cozy inns with colonial-esque architecture to luxury resorts with access to stunning marinas. This is the island that Dr. Daria gathered with her closest friends, family and colleagues for three wonderful days of celebration.
DAY ONE
After greeting her guests on the dock of the island; accompanied by musicians, dancers and signature cocktails; the festivities began. The first day kicked off with a vibrant cocktail and pajama party. The venue, Rock House, was adorned with white florals, twinkling lights and lush greenery. All guests arrived in matching pajamas that were both stylish and comfy. After sitting down for a lovely poolside dinner and a few cocktails, guests mingled and socialized. A professional cigar maker sat, rolling artisanal cigars for guests to enjoy. The night ended with a few ice-breaker games led by Dr. Daria and a surprise fireworks show to wrap the night up in flare.
DAY TWO
Day two hosted a mesmerizing bonfire dinner on one of the many beautiful pink sand beaches. The beachfront was transformed into an enchanting scene. Flickering torches lined the shore, golden twinkling fairy lights hung and a warm bonfire grtaced the center of it all. Long family-style tables were set up. Adjacent, a buffet of canapés and traditional Bahamian dishes. A live band serenaded the crowd as they ate and socialized. Their pink and blue outfits perfectly matched the pink and blue decor. The scheme complimented the soft colors of the beach beautifully. After a heartfelt speech of thanks from Dr. Daria, she introduced yet another surprise. A fire dancer! The woman wowed the crowd with dangerous stunts and a hypnotic routine. The crowd slowly trickled out into the night following her exit.
DAY THREE
The third and final day was the formal blue dinner. This was an evening of sophistication and glamour. The venue, decorated in blue, echoed the serene Bahamian waters and sky. Guests donned in their most elegant attire were met by stunning professional greeters that heightened the luxurious feel of the evening. The night was filled with emotional toasts, exceptional food, and ended with a Junkanoo rush out.
