The wedding season is officially in full swing! The flowers are blooming, the weather is warming up, and the venues are beautiful. What better way to get the full destination experience than this beautiful spring wedding at The Other Side, Bahamas?
Maggie and Kevin have seen beautiful parts of the world together; Paris, Italy, and more. However, their destination venue of choice was the charming island of Eleuthera, Bahamas. The Other Side is a cozy private glamping resort, a short boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. In the heart of April, the weather was perfect. A cool breeze blew, and minimal clouds glided across the sky. The color scheme was natural palm greens, tans, and light pastels. Maggie wore the Nela dress by Lihi Hod. After the couple shared a private and intimate first look, their guests enjoyed a smooth boat ride from Harbor Island to the beach ceremony. The ceremony itself was short and sweet but filled with sentiment as Maggie and Kevin recapped the earliest days of their relationship with the help of their good friend and officiant, Bryan.
While their loved ones enjoyed cocktail hour, we snuck them away for a few more couple portraits before they reunited with family and friends. Speeches, tears, and dancing moved the reception along. The night ended with delicious food, cake cutting, and a traditional Bahamian Junkanoo rush out under the stars. Afterward, the wedding party left the newlyweds and retreated across the waters. Simple, elegant, and beautiful; this spring wedding at The Other Side, was a beautiful start to our busy wedding season.
