Matt and Kenzie crossed paths on a golfing trip Matt had planned with a few close friends. Despite living in two different states, they stayed in contact for months after that until they could finally meet. Over that time, they carefully planned to meet each other halfway for their first date. Those plans were completely rewritten with a spontaneous idea to take a CRUISE together around the Caribbean (talk about hitting the ground running, am I right?)! The seven hundred-plus mile distance gap between the two was of little significance from then. They continued to forge a beautiful relationship. I guess the saying is true, absence DOES make the heart grow fonder. When McKenzie became pregnant, Matt knew that was the sign he needed that she was the woman he’d spend the rest of his life with. So, he got to planning his Atlantis maternity/surprise engagement shoot.

When McKenzie became pregnant, Matt knew that was the sign he needed to confirm she was the woman he’d spend the rest of his life with. So, he got to planning. Matt reached out to our studio; and on the very first phone call, he booked the date! He had no particular vision for the shoot, just that he wanted it to be a surprise for her. They would walk along the beach and upon turning around, Matt would be down on bended knee. Well, that day, on the beautiful beaches of Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar, the couple experienced just that. Kenzie was six months along at the time, and her baby bump was round and beautiful! We were so happy to be a part of M&K’s maternity/surprise engagement shoot.
