The words tenacity, determination and grace best describe this stunning Sandy Toes Rose Island destination wedding of Kelly & Ben. When three weeks before their wedding date, hurricane Matthew decided to touch down on Grand Bahama leaving hotels closed and the entire island without electricity they didn’t panic. Along with the super coordinated Marva Munroe of Chic Bahamas Weddings, they quickly decided to move their nuptials to Sandy Toes, a small wedding venue on Rose Island which lies just 20 mins boating from Paradise Island.
The logistics of the move for this Sandy Toes Rose island destination wedding were in the capable hands of Marva and all the vendors previously contracted for Kelly & Ben’s wedding flew out the night before.
November 5 th was as beautiful a day as it gets here in The Bahamas, A beautiful blue sky, calm breeze and cooler temperatures at this time of year.
With a beautiful watercolor theme as their inspiration, the team at Styled Beautiful Bahamas created a beautiful backdrop of palms, roses and other lush tropical flowers.
Kelly looked ethereal in her Hayley Paige dress and her bridesmaid in hues of Aqua. Ben and his Groomsmen looked Island chic in their relaxed linen suits.
As they read their vows, the enormity of their love and commitment to each other became apparent and guests became emotional.
This just left dancing the night away with their closest friends and family! Enjoy some images from their day.
