It’s a beautiful feeling being able to witness the progression with clients. Lisa’s Bahamas maternity session was one filled with conversation and constant laughter. I photographed their wedding almost 2 years ago and then their awesome baby shower for baby D at the start of the year and now this gorgeous maternity session.
We chose the Bahamas National trust on Village road as the setting for our shoot and Lisa looked fabulous at 33 weeks in a custom made masarla dress by Phylicia Ellis Design for her first outfit and a navy jersey dress for her second, which fit right into her nautical theme.
There’s so much joyful anticipation whilst pregnant and I actively encourage every woman if possible to capture this time. 40 weeks may seem like forever when you’re pregnant but there is a feeling once the baby arrives of pride that you were were able to bring a brand new human into this world looking back on your time of pregnancy with a bahamas maternity session & photos can truly be magical experience.
Baby D will be here soon and I’m looking forward to capturing his first days with a newborn session with his proud parents.
