When Dani emailed me to see if i would be available to shoot her and Jul’s e-session whilst their were vacationing at the amazing Atlantis, I couldn’t wait to reply, I was already due to fly over that day to meet with clients who I would be covering their welcome party at The Cove in the Atlantis and their wedding the following day at The One & Only Ocean club. I had the whole morning free. As soon as I told her this she booked and paid a deposit instantly. I could tell that she was my type of girl, she had checked out my website and had noted that I had natural hair like her and asked for advice regarding the humidity and whether to wear her hair straightened or curly, we decided to go with straight and when I arrived at 10am ready to shoot she looked fabulous in a coral dress and Jul’s looked so dashing in his Hugo Boss suit.
During the first 10 minutes we got comfortable with each other and I asked them how they met. As they told me their story, I took shots capturing them in relaxed, natural poses. She told me she had been a cheerleader, I made her promise to show me some moves. Jul’s mentioned that both their parents had been inquiring when they would be taking engagement photos so this session was going to be a surprise to their moms!
Despite the heat, this cute couple stayed cool, wrapped in love and that amazing feeling of knowing that this is THE ONE, their chemistry was palpable. we popped into the Ben & Jerry’s for an ice cream and a quick photo op:)
After a quick change we headed through the aquarium and got some great pics with the huge Stingrays swimming by, then off the beach, where Dani showed me her moves,
