Two Hearts, One Love: Chris & Gary’s Sapodilla Bahamas Wedding

Two Hearts, One Love: Christine And Gary’s Bahamas Wedding

The Struggle…

This theme perfectly complimented both Christine and Gary’s wedding, and their relationship together. They met while volunteering for the same Community service organization- The Kiwanis Club. Their love of service above self brought them closer together. Originally, Chris and Gary had planned an extravagant ceremony. But of course, like everything else, Covid turned all their plans upside-down.

This unfortunately meant that the couple had to postpone and drastically downsize. Gary’s family back in Jamaica also could not be in attendance.

The Triumph…

The pair did their final touch-ups at The Pointe,  The gold, teal, and pink color scheme was beautifully reflected in the ocean view. Chris was a glamorous bride, courtesy of make-up artist Khandise Bain of Fab Faces and hair styled by Tanya Saunders of New Beginning Beauty Salon. Her dress, by  Leah Da Gloria, was adorned with elegant beading and accompanied by a dreamy long veil.

She entered St Thomas More Catholic Church, and Gary met her at the door. He softly kissed her hand as they walked up the aisle to meet Father Junior Calixthe. The minister conducted a moving and emotional ceremony, and florals by Island Leaves Events further set the church’s atmosphere with love and happiness.

The Celebration…

Their entrance to the reception at Sapodilla estates was grand, complete with fireworks. DJ Kavon Collie serenaded the crowd with one of the couple’s most-loved songs. Island Leaves Events had once again styled the space to perfection with florals and elegant candles. Tears and laughter filled the room as messages from family and friends that could not make it was played. Everyone enjoyed dinner and delicious wedding cake, an impressive decadent work of art by Take a Bite Bahamas. The entire party danced the night away as they celebrated Christine and Gary’s love story of Two hearts, One love.
